@Life Goes Youre the one calling it a box meanwhile its the most curvaceous SUV out aside from Infiniti's SUVs. The roof for example tapers off into the rear end of the SUV, it slopes downward like a fastback Mustang. A box assumes straight lines parallel to each other in 90 degree angles...which is the absolute opposite of the new Aviator. If we were talking about the *old* aviator I would agree with you whole-heartedly.

Slight correction Alex. The X5 didn't start out the MY2019 without the third row. They initially launched with the third row option (requires air suspension) but removed it earlier this year (I think February). There are in fact still some X5's on dealer lots that have the third row, as well as those buyers who custom built their X5's that have the 3rd row. It's a shame because the row third in X5, while not suitable for adults, will absolutely work for kids or as emergency seating. The third row was a relative bargain at $2200, including the $1000 air suspension. It also upgrades the X5 from non-adjustable second row (no forward/backward or angle adjustment) to electronically controlled second row with forward/backward and angle adjustments. Great video as always, hope you feel better with your throat.

Eric D. Or you can just add 2yrs extended warranty for only a couple grand and get 6 yrs out of it, fix what ever breaks at the 8 yr mark and sell it, still a lot cheaper than leasing twice over that 8 yrs span. Assume obviously how much you really like the car and how well it age. From personal experience if the car was maintained well, besides scratches and door dings that accumulates over the year and some repair, the car is still enjoyable as they very well built.

In a couple of years this will be in a used car lot for way less than it’s original value. Mercedes and BMW designs are getting dated and generic. They look the same from over a decade ago. At least Lexus has bravely come out with some new designs that look, modern, bold and sharp. Lexus vehicles are also built to last unlike German cars.when the Warranty is over, anything that breaks on that BMW will cost thousands of dollars to fix.
@haptics25 жыл бұрын
Anything breaking on luxury car will cost thousands to fix any way... Lexus is not exception. You may get away with some Toyota parts that are shared, but most parts are made for Lexus. BMW looks similar for decades but not same. Lexus can gamble with how car looks because it is under Toyota's umbrella. Look at the design on Rolex watches. Their design didn't change much in decades. How often do you see luxury goods change radically? Rolex, Tiffany, Cartier, Louis Vuitton, Chanel......
