India grew from a nation of utter poverty in 1947 after independence to a stable and self sufficient economy during the 1980s only because of Nehruvian socialist policies. Liberalisation was a good policy, and but if it would have been introduced a little earlier (say late 1980s) then India would've been a top contender for China. Socialism is best for an extremely poor country and a blend of socialism and capitalism is the best for a country like today's India.

It took 8 mins for you to bring up the word "Risk" that's associated with investing our capital. The reason for capital investors it entrepreneurs getting paid more than the employees is only because they take more risk. So reward is proportional to the risk you are taking not proportional to the time you clock in and out.... which is very fair. Now, no ideology is perfect. The negative side of capitalism is greed. But given a choice between capitalism and communism, I would take capitalism anyday. If communism worked we all would be scrambling to learn Russian and looking to migrate to Russia instead of western countries

14:00 2008 financial crisis was caused by government interference . They promote issuance sub prime housing loans , this caused housing bubble . Don’t blame investment banks , stock markets , they only did want government promoted. 17:24 students loan problem was caused by government promoting loans with interest for higher education. If govt subsides something , people are encouraged to take . Here govt encouraged students to take loans ( not college degrees ) by promoting college loans . So don’t blame banks , colleges etc. 18:00 that is crony capitalism, which is against spirit of capitalism itself 18:42 reason for it is they create more wealth than poor people , so they own more wealth

2008 financial crisis is a perfect example of Capitalism and its core values. Financial crisis is a byproduct of Capitalism and its been proven historically. 2008 financial crisis was caused by the mortgage bubble. And the greedy Capitalist created more profitable financial product than an MBS, which is backed by the high risk subprime housing loans (CDO's and CMO's) , thinking that no one will default on their home loans. Whether the government interfered promptly or not, of course it is a Capitalist government and whome do think they stand for?

It's funny when you say 'student loan problem caused by Government'. Like any other Capitalist government America also privatized the education which made education in appropriate for common people. Now the Capitalist has two gain here, one is education as a business and the second one is student loan as another business. So basically privatizing the education not only created a business and made it expensive but also created an opportunity to sell a liability product like student loan. But your problem is government could have subsidised the interest rates.. 🤣 🤣 🤣 Funny though

Usually Alex's explanation is factual and objective. This is lacking in this video on capitalism. It is wrong to say that in capitalist countries, "rich are getting richer and poor are getting poorer." The reality is that rich are getting richer and millions of poor also are getting richer. Read the history of the Developed countries of the world. There are many capitalist countries were poverty is zero. Most advanced capitalist countries are rich enough to afford a cradle to grave social security system. The exploitation under capitalism explained here is the Marxian analysis which is increasingly becoming irrelevant now. Students of economics should read Risk, Uncertainty and Innovations theories for better understanding of profits.
