I think the judges (save Simon) got caught up in the caricature that she presented - the name Panda, the necklace Single, her playful flirting, etc - and they may have missed that this is a generational voice. I love 60s and 70s soul and this woman is loaded with talent, a richness in experience that permeates her vocal performance. Just amazing. I'd listen to her sing Motown hits all day.

It's a different world than when Aretha came up. This woman saying straight up soul r&b right off the chitlin circuit from the '60s. That's why what's his name said she sang like a legend. Right now pop singers are busy trying to make catchy hits and use Auto-Tune... It's rare to find that kind of sincerity in a pop song these days..Lizz Wright isn't big and famous and she sings with heart and soul that rivals the greats. If Liz Wright got on that stage Britney Spears and other singers on the panel they would be humbled. and she sings with her own voice she isn't imitating anybody like the woman in this video. Fame does not always mean the greatest talent is what I think I'm trying to say and the greatest talent isn't always rewarded with Fame although that depends on your perspective of Fame.

Panda Ross leaves both Britney Spears and Demi Levato in the dust when it comes to talent. It kills me that Panda never made it any further than boot camp. Its ridiculous. She has more talent than anyone who has ever been on that show. She is an incredible singer with a powerful voice. She just doesn't "look" like a pop star, but so what?
