Watching Roger and Alice sing together was a treat. I have watched Alice busking in the NY subway for over 30yrs. I had her sing at my Library for a couple times, and have a picture with us on my desk. When I wanted to book her again 2 yrs ago. I learned from her manager, that she is sick, and cannot perform anymore. The musical legacy is on KZbin for her grand children. I know her daughter Actress (Gabourey Sidibi) is very proud of her musical heritage.

I am a lover of Sam Cooke and was just listening to him singing this and admiring his beauty at the same time. I didn't think anyone could do better. This version not only gave me chills but tears to my eyes. Thank you! From my late mother too who spent her life buried in Blues/Jazz clubs in her youth and one of the last things she did was kiss a photo of Sam Cooke and said "I LOVE THAT MAN!"
