This video sold me on the syncro 4! Picking it up soon, what tyres would you recommend for mainly tarmac with a bit of grass/light off road?

Awesome mate! I love my synchro 4, I also upgraded mine a bit. I have put the 17 tooth pinion in, a fan for the motor(was tricky fitting that under the body), shocks off the spark and an AGFRC 55kg servo. It is soo good, it’s faster than my 8s outcast now😂.

Thanks, mate! That sounds like a killer setup! I bet that 17 tooth pinion with the motor fan and upgraded shocks really took it to the next level. I can imagine fitting the fan under the body was a bit of a challenge, but totally worth it for the performance boost. And that AGFRC 55kg servo must make a huge difference too! It's wild that it's faster than your 8s Outcast now-bet it's a blast to drive! 😂 Keep ripping it!

@@ChriswithaCrc it seems to be a really good set up at the moment. You can easily keep the synchros stock they are awesome straight out the box, my only slight issue was the servo was a bit on the weak side, have you had issues with grass etc causing the esc fan to stick?. Best RC channel out there mate! Keep doing what you do!.

Thanks for the kind words! 😊 I agree, the Synchros are great straight out of the box. The servo being a bit weak is a common observation, so upgrading it can definitely help. I haven’t personally had issues with the ESC fan sticking due to grass, but that’s something worth keeping an eye on, especially if you run in grassy areas. Another good video my friend hopefully one day soon I will be there running with you. The Syncro4 is amazing I hope this cements Team Corally as a one of the big players obviously Traxxas does not get it. Have you seen the new mud boss? Its a 2s for 380!!! Nothing about it that to me says its worth it 2S and a slipper clutch wow!! The Syncro4 is such a better choice for the money. I will be setting mine up more for track running now that I have the Asuga the Typhon and Syncro4 will be my track runners.

Hey dude , Thanks so much for watching and commenting , I really hope that your well . As you say awesome that corally has stepped up and shown the world that there a force to be reckoned with . Yeah seen the Mud boss and got to say im not impressed at all , although i really love XRT thats a beast and im planning on getting one . But will say you guys over there have some fun classes to run trucks like the mud boss , so is it a opening to racing ? Im planning on changing a few more things up with mine also but not sure if its for bashing or racing haven't decided yet . I will say that the Asuga isnt really a track car though , its a ground basher and a bloody good one at that i adore my Asuga . Stay awesome buddy and keep up the good work . Chris :)

Nice and fast I just got a syncro4 and thinking of doing that motor mount upgrade. I like being able to adjust the mesh myself.

What are your thoughts on the hot racing servo saver for the arrma kraton 4s can I bolt it on the stock servo , and will it help the steering

Hey buddy , Well Congratulations on your new buggy thats awesome , There genuinely awesome and i mean that , If you follow what ive done to mine youll have plenty of wheel speed thats for sure , also i would change out the servo for something faster if you racing , Some softer wheels and tires ( Dependant on were your running it ) and give the suspension a tune , along with some sway bars . Let’s not forget your speed check was on a road with a massive decline so will have pushed it quicker than in flat. Still quick though, nice job.

@@ChriswithaCrc yea that road defo isn’t suitable to get a top speed as you found out nearly crashing into the kerb. I was clenching watching that ha ha. For true speed runs an air strip of something similar with no kerbs is ideally needed or you are at risk from a wipe out. Coming from someone who has wiped out recently I wouldn’t take the risk again as the cost is too much and not worth it. I would have you will probably be over 70mph the way that car was moving. Fast as hell,,,,,,ZOOM………… Be safe and keep the videos coming Chris.

Rapid for 4s & it'll be lighter than typhon and i remember watching popalong rc vid saying radix handles better than tlr so i imagine syncro be the same. Add a fan keep it cool all it needs now really but if want to beef it up more spotted the other day adu have released a center brace for it(not spark brace), not seen one fitted in any vids online ;). And saw a vid other day might be cheaper option beef up python shock towers is just double up on the originals usually pick them up fairly cheap saw it done on an mugen mbxt.

Thanks buddy I’ve had the same conversation with it my friend about it funny enough . As for the syncro yep 👍 definitely fast now to be fair . As for handling not 💯 yet
