Cooking game is leveling up, definitely need to build a dining table inside.

Cheers, I definitely agree about the table. At some point I'm determined to do a full on 3 course meal served on a table with table cloth, bottle of wine, a candle perhaps haha

Another great video Alex. Keep 'em coming. You're a very humble bloke. Don't sell yourself short. Your videos are very educational and informative. You're getting out there and doing something many of us dream of. Looking forward to your next video and the ongoing construction of your bush shelter.

Hello there Alex, enjoyed your video and the Pork on the skewer made my mouth water for sure! Was curious if you had considered creating something akin to what many indigenous folks built, an adobe-like stove/oven? Basically a clay/pottery box-shape that can be used as a warmer or as an oven of sorts (for bread, vegetables, rice, etc.). The one's I saw had the make-shift oven/box both above the fire or back behind the fire. Some even allowed for the hot coals to be placed all over the top/sides/bottom and they made pizza and other foods that you can't normally 'open-fire'. Cheers mate.. I'm going to go make a sausage sandwich now with all that being said above... lol

Hey John.....I'll have to look into the adobe oven idea, sounds interesting for sure, thanks for the tip. Stoked you enjoyed the food, it's definitely something I want to focus on into the future. Thanks as always mate.

Great to see you back out there. Was worried something had happened to the hut. When are you going to invite the fans out for a BBQ and a couple of bevvies?

Haha...maybe when it's finished and I've done the outside firepit and BBQ area lol

Also, whereabout in NSW are you? Not going to hunt down your site. Just interested to see if I've been bushwalking near you without knowing lol
@AlexDoes3 жыл бұрын
I'm in the Watagans area. Where the site is there is no obvious way in so I'd be surprised if anyone finds it.

@@AlexDoes definitely have not been through there recently either. Glad no one else has. Makes it more peaceful. I've got a few spots like that, but two of them have been found and are getting more visitors so it's hard finding those special spots.

@@damianrobinson8781 Yeah for sure it's good to be away from people. It's why I like camping during the week over weekends.
