Instead of using “this guy” & “this” try being more descriptive for contextual understanding. Using the names of people, places & things adds a sense of depth making a more meaningful connection between the reader & yourself. Also be mindful of the when & where regarding punctuation. Your sentence would read much better if it were two sentences instead. A period or exclamation mark, for emphasis, after “this” & before Phil is great point to separate the two sentences. A few words of to describe “this” at the end would help the reader understand the context behind your statement. What is Phil one of the greats at? “Wake up mate Alex can’t even speak English let alone sing a classic like Cemetery Gates! Phil is one of the greatest metal vocalists of all time, very few will ever match his range & style.” That’s a more engaging perspective that projects personal feeling of your opinion. AT can speak English quite well though. His lyrics are very powerful & he also has the humility to try new things on camera for all the world to see. That kind of dedication to music as well as learning is an impressive characteristic that most people aren’t willing to try. I respect your opinion regardless even if we don’t agree. ✌🏻

You sing in a different register from Phil, so this was never going to have the same sound. The fact that you’re aware of your clean vocals and have the presence of mind to be concerned with the outcome tells me (and others) that you do care about your clean vocals, which is awesome. Once you have really found your groove for your cleans, you can integrate them into different songs even better than you already do. This is what makes you a great singer, and not just another good singer. Keep doing what you’re doing!

Thank you ..that song has a special place in my heart ..during my father's funeral procession right when we hit the cemetery gates, this song started on my stereo. To me it was a sign as he loved music that he was there with me.. you didn't ruin it though ..lol ..great job.. definitely had a karaoke vibe
