2nd opinion , that’s a great idea, and being in the industry that is what’s needed ALL around . Not just from outside shops but from DEALER mechanics . From up my way the so called dealer mechanics can not diagnose a simple problem. Keep uop the good work. Have a safe and blessed holiday .

40:45 *Now I will say this Brother, REMEMBER: the SRT8 is my EXPERTISE, as soon as he started the engine I heard the "Hemi Tick." Now the untrained ear may not have heard it, but I sure did. Sometimes it just needs to run for a while and it goes away, because either the Drivetrain just needs to be LUBRICATED thoroughly OR the INJECTORS can actually be THAT LOUD! But more often than not it's the Lifters or the Rocker Arms. If he didn't pull the Valve Covers or the Heads then he doesn't know. But if it's still ticking that loud after about 2 days of consistent driving, there's an issue.*

The reason most people go to shade tree mechanics is the estimate that they are shown for a repair at a stealership. Then they take it to a mom and pop shop that may be top-notch or suspect. They are again given a quote and it's out of their budgets range. So they ask around and a friend of a friend of a friend of another friend knows a guy which promises to fix it for cheap. But they want the wmoney up front, then they vanish or they repair it, but they do it half butt causing further more expensive damage. It all boils down to budgets and costs. Your shop has an excellent reputation for providing quality work at very reasonable prices. You all help so many people in your area. Keep making it happening family. At Bmw, we have to send the customer a video inspection report or so if they want a vehicle check, we test the batteries we show their tire any damage underneath the vehicle as well as oil leaks, coolant leaks, so it does help

Yea i gave up on the automotive industry a long time ago. I just hated everything about it. Only thing i liked was working on my own cars. I ended up quitting to be a cnc operator and ive been the happiest since. No tool debt, no 6 days a week work, and most importantly more pay. How i make more money just working 4 days now then i did when i was an auto tech working 6 days 🤦‍♂️. The auto industry gota stop paying people that work on car minimum wage. My cousin literally left an interview when he found out they were offering $18 an hour to WORK ON CARS!!!!!! Now i know why every auto shop in my city is either closed down or only have like 2 employees working. Its sad that my 21 year old cousin cant find an automotive job that pay decent at all. He got a job at amazon making $25 an hour at the warehouse and all he does is moves boxes 🤦‍♂️. The automotive industry is cooked, never seen an industry where u work so hard and get paid so low like if you were working in a fast food restaurant. Shit is sad.

Only thing that matters after a crash is the subframe underneathe the car. The front end is all cosmetic support for the heating system. You can tell after a while if the whole frame and geonmetry like the engines starts shaking your dimensions (headaces).. tow it to the yard or get an alignment

Yes on that FX35 if someone goes in to the upper plenum for a gasket or etc sometimes they don’t tighten up especially in the front or the oil piece rubber in the valve cover close the the manifold gets stuck when you put it back on if not moved 😭also them tubes get bad over the years and get hard from heat. My 2006 FX45 has over 300k miles and my FX35 has 230k miles

The blown head gasket scam is so notorious. I just got hit with that on an 06 Lincoln because mine was overheating ended up being the fan was just old and stopped working. Also, one time a $.89 coolant hose popped a crack on the clamp and a mechanic told me that was a blown head gasket too.
