You might already know this, The little clip behind the front doors on the rear interior panel is for securing the seat belt into when you get in and out. A lot of people don't bother with using it though hence all of the broken door cards. Your Interior looks a lot better now, and great video as usual

Those couple of little things have made a noticeable difference to the appearance of the cars interior, and who doesn't love a little dash of rosso corsa. Well done Joe, top job (and Joe's dad lol).

Oh crikey been there a few times with gaiters on gear levers and handrakes. Liking the red touches! Nice upgrades! I wish the leather centres of my V70 were as easy to get out. I have swapped the cloth interior for Oak leather but I am retaining the black dash and interior trim, and having the oak leather door inserts to replace the black cloth items. It took me 2 hours to unstick the old insert and then glue the leather one in. Yep, definitely Swedish build quality 🤦‍♂️

Looking great Joe! The red really adds a nice little tinge of sportiness...nice how the gearknob stitching matches the gaters now too. Glad the Sikaflex seems to be holding on that gater. I tried repairing a trim panel for Humdrum's hatch once with superglue and it just would not take...always was too brittle and just simply broke again. In my case it was non-removable clips that were molded into the trim panel itself, so if not repairable...you'd need a whole new panel to stick the thing on. Hopefully I can find some for the car at a local Pick N Pull yard once all this COVID stuff is over!

Well done on a few replacements that have transformed your GTV! Just done a complete dash out interior swap on mine so I feel for you! By the way noticed your car has zender aftermarket pedal covers fitted, quite a sought after mod is that made by the same people that made the Cup kit and so on......

The other way to fix the seat belt problem is to wash them and they will retract much faster afterwards.

Dude I like your videos very much. Reason is that I am in exactly the same situation. Got my Alfa a while back and ever since I am trying to restore it or improve it ( car is totally drivable as it is) Anyway, just wanted to ask you about the leather covers you got for the gear stick and the hand break ? Where did you got them from? And one suggestion next time you will take the door panels off, try to install some new speakers. There are adaptors and round speakers and for sure they improve the music department a whole lot. Keep up the good work !

Have got 3 Alfa's in the household, 1996 Gtv Spider, 156 2.0 1999 & a 2005 Gt jtdm so I love the old Italian poo. I think the Red touches you have added look like you've ram raided Halfords but I'm 54 a d probably smell of p*ss. Carry on the great work...

Red seatbelts would be very nice, if there is such a thing available. The cinq sporting has them so I don't see why Alfa wouldn't have had them.

Do not know why they use Allen bolts.You used to be able to get clips to stop those buckles from going down the belt
