I had a 33 1.7 IE, years ago. Drove it for some 100.000 km, then sold it to a friend who drove it for several more years. Great fun car!

Body is in nice shape. Unusual to see power steering on a base trim, mine 1.3VL doesn't have it. The roofliner doesn't look stock, maybe that's why it have sagged.

Hi Bruno. Very nice video, but I have a question if you can answer please. On my 2.4jtdm Brera when I cold start it the timing belt is making annoying noises for about one minute, but it is relatively new.. is there anything I can do?

Hello. Only an original stretchy belt will do. Make sure the pulleys are not scored also

Hello. U codes are fault at communication with other control units. Not normal on those cars. Try a better diagnosis tool

Bruno, a question about the brake fluid. Someone said that the fluid from te brake reservoir circulates through the system via the ABS pump. So even replacing the fluid only from the reservoir, would refresh the fluid from the rest of the system as well. Is that true? I though the fluid from the reservoir never enters the system and is only there as a reserve in case of a leak.

Hello. It's not true.. the abs only takes pressure out of the line of the locked wheel. It can puke out a bit to the reservoir, but almost nothing

Hey, I changed the head gasket and timing belt with the help of your videos on my 147 1.6 ts. Now the immobilizer activated and the car won't start. Any advice how to deactivate it without the master key and original manual for the car? Any help would be highly appreciated.

@@alfaromeonoproblem it turned out to be just a ground cabel not connected right. Engine runs smooth and has full power, but now I got a p0340 code. Maybe the camshaft sensor got damaged in the process 🙄

Nice. Good luck. BTW, oil pressure switch/sensor on my 2.2 JTS is leaking a bit of oil. The only one available is the cheap Topran one. Should I replace it with that, or maybe try to fix the leak on the old sensor with some glue? :/
