I remember the day my father bought his 1750 GTV in 1974. I came home from school, knowing my dad had been to the auctions. I saw the Alfa in the drive. Leaned my bike against the wall. Got into the Alfa. Wow. Just Wow. The wooden wheel. The elegant indicator and headlamp stalks. The stainless steel-rimmed instruments, angled towards the driver. The inset wooden trim. The super-sculpted "flying buttress" seats. Great street cred for any teenage kid. My father is long gone but I've still got his Alfa in my garage. French Blue like the one in the video. I think I'll take it for a drive later today. Just because I can.
