The cup runs a totally different Recaro seat to the regular GTV Momo leather. It’s also called up a Cup as it was used in a racing series

Pretty sure the only difference with the seats are the cloth insert.

Thanks for another good video. Saw an '05 phase 3 Spider 3.2 V6 for sale on Autotrader recently for a shade under £7.5k with 17" rims and lovely interior (but higher mileage). Would still be a great investment and open air fun for half the price of a Cup.

I have never owned an Alfa (sorry Neil!), but this stunning GTV Cup is seriously tempting! I think that for enthusiasts, a limited production run, together with that unique body kit, would certainly justify the increase in price over a 'standard' GTV. 👍🔥👍

Very nice. Also limited editions tend to have black carpets regardless of the rest of the interior. Headlining is the same as other GTV's.

Great video! I do love the Cup, and was tempted, but I ended buying a low milage Rosso GTV V6 with tan leather. Also a Japanese import, so no rust. I do love the various Cup body parts though.

I think the body kit on the cup really lifts the car, I’m not a fan of the normal GTV to be honest, especially from the rear it’s too flat, but the spoiler and side skirts on the cup really transform it for me. You’re right though I wouldn’t pay double for it, if I really wanted one I’d probably go for the normal GTV V6 and tart it up a bit

Not a fan of red cars generally, so always preferred the standard GTV with its various colour combinations. Daft that the cup is worth so much more.

Much more fun with the European edition only , 2 litre V6 the " TB" engine . Tuned to 250bhp quite easily . Much lighter than the nose heavy V6 in this Cup .

I nearly bought one out here in Oz some years ago, back when the 916 series GTV6s were cheap. The car I was looking at could have been had for around $8K, alas all GTV6s have gone up in price since then.

Hi we've got a 2.0ltr with knackered clutch, 3 garage's we've tried to get a quote from said no way they're a nightmare? Is it much different from a 146ti, or 155V6, I've done both of those, a few years ago now but I may have to do it myself. Any help much appreciated?

@jonjanson8021 I'm not aware of any Alfa dealers in Cornwall now, Vospers (Fiat) in Plymouth! 50miles away, £1,000+ at a guess, Time is the issue rather than ability, I don't remember the 146 being any more difficult than anything else I've done, the reactions from 3 different people seems odd, I'm trying to get a MK5 Golf and Transit Custom DM flywheels and clutches done aswell, all no problem except the Alfa, "How do you end up needing 3 done" Son in Law drives like a tit, old neighbour and the van is just a rattle at the moment.

Much prefer my 62k from new 2001 V6 in Vela blue with tan interior with factory aero kit the cup kit does nothing for me 🤷‍♂️
