Roy is 75 years old here, and he still sings in the same key as he did when this song first came out. The man is a total and absolute legend!

Superb. I grew up with the music of Roy Wood. I remember several drunken Christmas walks home from the pub, singing his christmas song. I'm an old man now. but thank you for the memories.

1st single I ever bought was in Woolworths when I was 10. It was 50p. "See My Baby Jive". Had a big influence on my musical tastes from that moment on.

Roy Wood's part of my era (born 1957) who I grew up listening to, but my wife's 3 years younger and Alfie is more her thing. Despite being wrong for most of my life I can't wait to show her this and justify her "not liking this" - thank you Linda Wellington. Surely both women can't be wrong? - or have the goalposts been moved again?

Yip i agree with everyone, however, if i remember correctly he used to wear a necklace with "W" on it , and soon after together another two initails "A B" was this the gorgeous Asha Brough ? Forgive me if I've mis spelt her name please. It was fifty years ago. Rock on Tommy, er i mean ROY😊

Roy it's a pity you didn't sing the song by yourself, Alfie (no disrespect) your voice suits other music.

The very brilliant woody on stage where he belongs someone said a knighthood it won't happen because what happened with that idiot Harold Wilson and the move in the 60s .he created the much underated first elo but wizzard were brilliant get wizzard brew album out get in turned up and enjoy

Too bad that Roy won't reunite with the surviving members of "The Move". There are hard feelings that time hasn't healed. Ace, Trevor and Bev are partly to blame, though Rick Price seemed to remain on good terms with Roy.
