You provided good advice by telling students to work methodically toward their solution (show all their workings). This is an important step when reviewing answers, and it helps with understanding if you make an error. Working methodically through a problem is an important part of deconstructing your thinking-it is a form of meta analysis.

I am grouping the like terms together. (3/4)y and (-½)y are like terms. 3/4 - ½ is ¼ and 12 + (-6) is 6, so that's how you get (¼)y + 6. I hope that helps.

@@koketsobaholo7 true. Repent. Jesus Christ is the Son of YHWH, the only one created directly from Him, then they created all of everything else. That is why he is the only begotten son, and why he is the Alpha, he being the first one created by YHWH, and the Omega for being the last one created by Him alone. Most people think Jesus is YHWH, but he never claimed that. In fact, when the Pharisees asked the Governor to kill Jesus, he asked why? They said at John 19:7, "HE CLAIMED TO BE THE SON OF GOD" So repentance is about finding out what he wants us to do and confirming our life to him, not trying to make him confined to our wishes and life. Matthew 7:13,14 the road to life is cramped because we cannot do anything we want. We have to do what he wants.

It's easier if you look at it in its number form: 1/2 = 2/4. They're equivalent fractions. You multiply 1/2 by 2 to get 2/4.
