Salute to your incredible spirit of camping alone and filming all by yourself this video. Not everyone’s cup of tea.

I just found you today and I'm binge watching all your episodes, you are great! I love Mason. My favorite is Camper Christina but you are a strong second. I love how you let us hear nature. You know, the fire crackling, loons singing, the waves, the wind, everything. I just love how you let nature come through in your videos. Oh and you have terrific music!

Nice vid! Opeongo is one of my faves. I think I've been here about 5 times now most recently in August 2022.

Thanks for commenting Phuong. It was a great time with lots of spare time for shooting. No owls though! :p

Nice trip! I find sometimes it seems like Opeongo creates these microbursts all the time. I was on a different lake around that time and was windbound too.

Thanks for watching and commenting. It is a big lake for sure... great to know that you were out and about as well. Spring camping is the best! Hope your trip was a good one too. Cheers.

You should pack a rod, reel and a handful of lures. Lots of hungry smallmouth bass in there. Easy to catch along most shoreline with rock and or weeds. Though I suppose the bass season may not be open yet there in May?

Yes... I know that there are fish to be had - but for me it is camera work or fishing. After setting up camp, there is little time for both. Good to hear that you have some experience fishing on that lake. I know that it is popular with anglers. Thanks for watching and commenting. Cheers!

You must hang your cooler along with your other food? Do you put the cooler in something before hanging it?

Correct. Both get hung. Unfortunately, this cooler does not fit in the blue barrel. Thanks for watching and commenting.
