Appreciate you putting this video up, cos it’s so hard to find hardware showcases alongside Djay Pro. Is it still treating you well? I’ve been eyeballing either the Rane Four or the Mixon 8, and would definitely go Rane if it feels like all the features and buttons on Rane work as expected.

Does the Rane also allow you to trigger Looper loops? I know it works with the sampler, but what about the pads triggering the looper, can you get that to work too?

Is it true that you can add all streamed tracks from all the services into one folder and then you can load any of them without going into the settings (like Serato) and toggle on/off for the desired streaming service?

Honestly I did nothing. Just updated Djay and made sure my Performer's firmware was current and plugged it in. No setting changes needed. Worked automatically.

Once it supported the rane four I switched to djay. Djay is so much better than serato.

Thanks for making this video! 🙌 It looks like there's only one button for turning on/off quantize on the controller. How do you turn on/off quantize per deck? Can I use the Rane PERFORMER as a standalone mixer (using channel 3 and 4 for turntables and no computer plugged in)?

Why? Seriously asking. A couple years ago I switched up from Traktor. I tried everything, including Algorithm.. Serato Just seemed to have the best features. But if there is something I'm missing out on, I'll peep Algorithm again.

Great to see that. But why, why don't the guys doesn't speak about Virtual DJ/Atomix which is doing a great job too, an for me equivalent even better on some aspects. That's always strange for me... Never speak about or at least do'a real test on it like you do with Djay 🤷🏾‍♂️

I don't pay monthly.. came with the hardware. Also Serato is moving toward a subscription model as early as January
