Last Year you moved to NYC, in summer you got ready for your move and then you travelled around, after that you flew to NYC, stayed with some friends , hunted an apartement, , moved into it, travelled around and as soon as fall came, it got more calm in your life. You started to enjoy the City and christmas, in 2024 you were prepping yourself for a marathon, worked a lot and now you are moving again... I get dizzy by just describing all of this right now lol. Maybe a helmet helps feeling more secure? I live in an area where we go everywhere by bike and most of us wear helmets. My son is 6, but started going by bike to kindergarten when he was 4 years old. Now he’s a pro!

I do wear a helmet for extra safety and I usually walk somewhere first like a few days prior and look at the bike lane and stuff and then when I cycle there I already know where to go, where to switch lanes and stuff. Hope this helps x
