the trees are australian ficus you can find them in many cities in spain they are about 150 years old they usually live up to 200 years

Awww guys..! What a sweet comment. Thank-you. We actually both really struggled with making the videos to begin with, as both of us prefer to be behind the camera, rather than in front of it. We hope we are both getting better at it now. Alicante was a great place to visit. We still need to go back, as we only visited one castle of the two, but the House of the Blue Pots was definitely a highlight for us. That whole small area of Alicante was so charming. Thanks for another interesting and informative video. Not somewhere we would have thought of to visit (we usually fly into Valencia) but it looks stunning and we'll worth a visit. Yep.... added to our ever growing list!

We would always recommend flying into Valencia. It is a much smaller, easier, quicker airport to use. Normally with much less drama. 🤣 Alicante is definitely worth a day or though. At this rate, you will need to be in Spain for 6 months to cover it all... One step closer to retirement. 😉💜🤟

Alicante airport is much bigger and better connected than Valencia one. Nice city.

Indeed it is better connected, but the downside of that, is it makes it much busier and that makes for a longer time in the airport from landing to leaving. Both airports are very efficient though and both are lovely cities. Thanks for your comment. 💜🤟

We're so glad that you enjoy the channel. 😬 Darren's glasses came from Forum Sport in Gandía and are made by a company called Blast, bought at the beginning of the year. Mine were bought about 6 years ago from Boots in the UK and are Karen Millen, but the lenses have since been changed for prescription lenses, on a 2-4-1 from Specsavers and are darker than original lenses as the sun is really bright here. 😎 Welcome to the family..!
