Saw Alice Cooper in 1970s in Jacksonville, Florida (Billion Dollar Babies Concert)... He was dancing around with a baby doll and yes tore the head off eventually during this song. His own head was chopped off as well during a scene! They were 🔥🔥🔥!

This song is about the fact only 2-years earlier no record company wanted anything to do with the Alice Cooper group, but over a short period of time later they became the biggest rock act in the world, and where making millions of dollars now every record company wanted a piece of them.

His given name is Vincent Furnelli and he credits his wife for helping him beat and conquer his addictions to booze and drugs. She was a midwestern girl whose family lived in a Chicago suburb and we had no idea and we're originally from Chicago! We finally saw him and his fabulous band outside of Houston where we now reside, and they were terrific!!

I saw them on the Billion Dollar Babies tour but unfortunately some fool in the audience threw a big firecracker on the stage and it injured one of the band. That brought an end to the show. Everybody was looking for the person who threw it. And, wanted their money back. He wouldn't come back for a long time.

It’s a pity that you didn’t get to see Alice/Vince in the 70’s - the live shows were something else. Saw him in the UK a couple of times, now the MOD can’t deploy me anymore, and he still puts on one helluva show, changing outfits after each song. If you get the chance get the original 70’s stuff Billion Dollar Babies, Welcome to my Nightmare, Alice Goes to Hell, From the Inside, and possibly Poison, but the first four are, to this old guy, his best. The second and fourth albums are the best, not that there’s anything to complain about with his other work, but as a 70’s teenager I was spoilt for choice.
