The part that goes 4-5 on the d and then 5 on the g is way more easier than playing it while barring the D And the G on the fifth fret while strugling to reach out the ninth fret and the A string... Thank you Mike... Thank you for spreading out the word of Rock Music !!!

Mike, thanks so much for this video! FWIW, I think your verse picking is incorrect here (or at least it's not clearly correct from this video). You "feel like you're missing a note" because in the first bar the first beat isn't played. You have the first bar correct in your video, but you mistakenly try to repeat that missed first beat in the second and third bars (where it isn't actually missed). The second and third bars are much simpler in the song than you have them in the video. Hope the feedback helps.
