In this video we're listening to more from Alice Cooper. We always found his music fun to listen to. And a number of them are played a lot more around this time of year. We were told this one was very interesting. We can't wait! Enjoy!

Understand first and foremost: Alice Cooper is "Theater" and all these songs are for live stage shows... the wildest you've ever seen. In fact, Alice cooper invented Rock & Roll theater. Kiss, etc,.. ... they all exist because Alice Cooper set this giant stage for all to follow. And his work is on on the Dark side. So much so, that he was boo'd off stages in his early days and people ran from the theater. The ONLY guy remaining who was perplexed by this unique performance? Frank Zappa... who signed them on the spot.

Actually,it was Arthur Brown with his stage show for his hit "Fire",in 1968. He is the original shock rocker.

I enjoy seeing people reacting to and exposing people to Alice Cooper, he’s an under appreciated songwriter. I always thought his early albums were so raw and pure.

Listen as the guitarists make the sound of what his lunatic mind might hear it as in his deranged mind.

This is one of my favorite songs. The first time I heard it, I immediately called my guitar player buddy and insisted we do this at the next band practice! :)

My first ever concert! 1971 I was 14. Alice Cooper opened for Steppenwolf and played the "Love it to Death" album which is where this song came from. "I'm 18" was that album's biggest hit at the time getting constant air play. I saw him once again a few years later when he headlined his Billion dollar baby album. Both shows were pretty amazing.. Great reaction!

I've seen him live at least 12 times. Huge fan going back to when I was 12 years old. I have all his albums, even the mediocre songs are good.

Alice Cooper was a band from 1967 to 1974. A solo artist after that. I prefer what you played, the band.

Love It To Death and the following Killer are the best of the Alice Cooper original band albums. School's Out and Billion Dollar Babies are great as well, but the prior two are the more twisted albums.

@@kensmith7110 I was all-in on AC until the last new album I bought in 1978, From The Inside. That and the preceding Lace and Whisky were the two I didn't play to death. After From the Inside, I dropped out.

I suggest Desperado, Killer, No More Mr. Nice Guy, Teenage Lament, You and Me, and The Black Widow. You and Me is a song he performed when he appeared on The Muppet Show, and The Black Widow, from his Welcome to My Nightmare album (which is also a great song.), has an intro by the great horror actor Vincent Price.

Great song from, in my opinion, Alice Cooper's best album...from before the Alice character's persona took over and they became more about the spectacle than the music.

I completely agree with you Kevin. "Love it to death" is my fav album by Alice Cooper and "His band". The sound affects and guitar work on this "original version" of Dwight Fry is the best version. Alice doing it live on stage without his former band mates it's just not as good as this original version.

@@Rhiannon011 yes, I saw this tour in when I was 12 at the Fillmore East in NYC. Everyone knew Alice Cooper as a band not a person. Their audience in 71 was definitely more on the freak side, gays, artists, hustlers, junkies, and pre-goth kids lol. Killer changed all that.

@@user-gk5wo4ns1d I saw them around the same time frame as you, at the Hollywood bowl. They did the having Alice's head cut off deal and during the concert a helicopter was throwing out "paper underwear" all over the audience, it was hilarious but spooky at the same time..
