I think we all are thinking of Layne when this song plays and Mike Star, but also of Jerry for keeping this going
@mypetblackhole57933 жыл бұрын
So grateful that he has kept going. So much talent yet unfortunately underrated an widely unknown by many. That needs to change. Cant wait for Jerry's new solo album. Degradation Trip was superb start too finish. This album wrote during a world wide pandemic & political unrest and an inserection ought to be good.

Damn, I wish Dallas would sing in the baritone range more, he sounded sick in this!
@mr.musicmusetear70494 жыл бұрын
He's a super star having a good time and maybe was feeling a little under the weather that night. He's still burning through the sky at super sonic speeds cause he knows how to have a good time good time having a ball and maybe even out of control at times. He's buring through the sky yeah! 200° degrees that's why they call him mister Fahrenheit he's traveling at the speed of light. I think he'd like to turn us all super sonic. I know this has zero to do with your comment. Oops, carried away. His voice ranges though. Singing is not exactly thee easiest thing to always pull off. You can be the greatest singer ever and still have so so vocal days. Our voices can kinda be sorta like the weather. ⛅/❄/🌊/🌋
@MetalliBucket4 жыл бұрын
@@mr.musicmusetear7049 you’re right about our voices not always being the same, but someone like DG who has made a living and sings 90% of the time in his upper register/head voice would find that to be the most comfortable place to sing in even when sick or in off days because that’s what he’s most used to. His singing here was a stylistic choice and most likely that he had to sing in the same key as they normally do

Yeah I would have to disagree. Chris Cornell or Zakk Wylde but he's a great singer for sure.

Id probably put Maynard in front of him too
@gordboyko7694 жыл бұрын
@@Crazyfool12 Zakk wylde? The most over rated guitarist of our time . Lol . Zakk wylde should not even be in this conversation. All Zakk does is speed shred Pentatonics and way over use pinch harmonics . he has no originality or melodic sensibilities. Jerry Cantrell is 10 times the guitarist ... and even jerry Cantrell isn’t in the league of greatest musician of our time .. although jerry is pretty awesome and one of my faves .

@invaliduserid58075 жыл бұрын
Do you mean when they came with Korn? I felt bad because everyone was there to see Korn plus I don't think that Jerry sang much if at all. That really showed what William's voice sounds like on his own. I feel like a bad fan because I had never heard him sing by himself before so even though Jerry, Sean, and Mike were playing as great as they have always been, William's singing reminded me of karaoke where you let them sing but inside you want to scream at them and tell them to go sit down.
