For a genre of music full of harmonized electric guitars and screaming vocals, it's a shame that so very few metal bands even tried harmonizing their vocals. Okay, Dave Mustaine has an excuse to sit that one out but other bands really should have stepped their vocal game up.

jim my Although RATM have made some pretty kick ass music in the past, their politics are very hypocritical. They are wealthy beneficaries of the capitalistic/free market systems, yet they "rage" against the very system that has made them so successful. They would be nothing without capitalism. And the poor would have no mechinisim to rise into the middle class and beyond without capitalism. Yet they seem to advocate leftist systems where there is greater inequality and poverty.

+John H Just an exchange of opinions and ideas in my mind. I love to have a debate . Sometimes folks might learn some things if they shut their mouth and listen to the other side. My thing with RATM I Love their music so different so new for its time I am a player kicked my arse. I think they were the first USA band to hold a concert in Cuba. And with that being said what is wrong with a band making money for their work. I must say I play guitar and have half of a clue of the lyrics their tunes Hard to hear!! Dylan did major protest music during Viet Nam as many others did. Should we forget what they said cause they made cash? Be well be fine I look foreward to to your response

He is really underrated even by people who supposedly consider themselves as fans. He's the genius behind Alice In Chains.

Indeed god bless Layne but Alice in chains is Jerry Cantrells baby. If it was no Jerry then it definitely would be no chains. Also RIP Mike Starr don’t forget him.

The pain of hurting soul is so powerfull that i can`t breath till i listen it. Scream of broken human who sings not with his throat but with his soul leaves a lasting impression. You may not believe me, but i only heard thi song this winter. I don`t really believe in a soul, but if a musician has one, here it is.
