I saw her perform this live in Seattle yesterday, a different version. She walks out with an electric guitar and her voice takes the breath out of the theater. So rich, elegant, and pleasant. She owned the stage, cracking a smile, and filling the room with a light airy, powerful sound. Music to die for, no record can do it justice.

Definately some Portishead vibes. I'd like to know if they are part of her influence in music. Listen to ''Lover over the moon''. The Portishead influence is hugely present in both voice and music. That being said it might also rather be 40s music influence. Nevertheless it is her unique voice, presence and music that makes it all come alive!
