Great trip and such a lovely warm winter! No snow at all! It's all about perspective. In the great white north we can easily go for 2 weeks below freezing and sometimes multiple days below 0°f. That said glad you have a heater for next time you need it.

Oh sub zero Fahrenheit is crazy cold. We are not used to such temperatures and certainly didn’t expect it in central Australia. Have you ever visited Australia?

I remember when we stayed in Mataranka 20 years ago (wasn't nearly so busy) and hubby got up at 6am to go for a swim. He stayed in for well over an hour as he had to psych himself up to get out and walk back to the van. I couldn't bear to get out of my sleeping bag it was so cold! I'm super impressed you got up and about so early for a swim ;-)

Yeah, getting out was definitely the hardest part. I think it was hunger that got me out haha!

So many beautiful and interesting places. With the various swimming holes I’d always be nervous about a stray croc. 😂

There are plenty of fresh water crocodiles about, but they are very timid and stay away from people for the most part. It’s quite clear where you can swim and where it’s not safe

@@nigelandsueadventures you are obviously quite correct otherwise there would be people being chewed up all over the place. 😣 Croc attacks seem to be pretty rare. Thankfully. 😊

@@LynneCarey there was that one in Cape York recently… I think a lot of them don’t make the news

Wow that’s good to hear! We haven’t been uploading in 4K as we are in the road and relying on mobile data, which was SLOOOOWWWW almost everywhere in the NT. We shoot with a Canon G7x mk iii, an iPhone 13 Pro and a GoPro 7 and a basic Mavic Mini Drone. We will upgrade the canon camera later this year. Thanks so much for watching and your comment. 🙏😃😃
