I do enjoy this series so keep 'em coming. Oh the snark, of course there are a bajillion HA products (hello Isntree HA water essence) so of course let's make another one with more interesting ingredients. I've definitely seen people asking for cheaper retinal products so it will be interesting to see brands come up with more especially since even retinyl esters which some people question as far as efficacy, can cost a lot.

There are so many great Korean skin lines and Korean products that are affordable and incredibly effective, that I find it hard to know which ones to use, and how to layer them. I’m not really complaining because it such an amazing development in my life but at the same time… I don’t know if it’s OK to be mixing all these different serums on my face from all these different lines. The one product I would really like to find is an eye product without any oils or glycerin, for puffy, undereyes and lids as well, to relieve the dryness, but without adding to the puffiness. If you find one like that, I would love a review on it as I’m sure others with puffy eyes would also love. I cannot use anything on my eyes right now because it always makes my eyes puffier.

Thank you so much Alice for all the knowledge you be dropping ☺️💕✨

I’m sort of disappointed in the most popular kbeauty serums specifically. I think my older western brain still doesn’t get it because for me a serum HAS TO ADDRESS SOMETHING! Usually for me it is ceramides/skin barrier and not plant ingredients that are “said” to do this and that healing wise. The other is like a peptide specifically medik8 peptide which is encapsulated and has a really great delivery system which gets them where they need to go. I need to start/stop caring about addressing things in such a scientific way and bite the bullet so to say and just buy a random healing Korean serum without all my fav ingredients and just see what it can do.
@mandywong140811 ай бұрын
You have a good point. The main difference in Kbeauty is that they believe in the gentle and slow approach. Also their prices are very good. Research is definitely good if you want to find something that is close to what you currently good. But if you want to have fun, then you can try a bunch of serums. When they're not strong enough for me, I just put it on my body.

0.02% per their gallery on YesStyle! Tbh I would use it at night. I’m not sure about retinal, but with retinol, it’s sensitive to sunlight (so wearing it during the day could cause it to not work as well). Its so thick, layering trerinoin with it, geez its so difficult to spread. Im only applying a pea size each, do you know if I should be using more hydroquinone then that, or maybe layering a serum between them? Like Torriden option?
@AliceintheRabbitHole11 ай бұрын
I use a pea size amount of product with my adapalene, and I find it helps to dab the tips of my fingers into the pea until I have 8 tiny dots - then I just go for it from there.
