All these years later and she still just as humble and beautiful and even more talented than ever. There will never be another Alicia Keys ever!!

So beautiful! She was getting everyone's attention at this time because there was absolutely NO ONE like her. Best song ever and all those awards were so deserved.

She was so mature at 21 she was and and still is charismatic,I was 5 going on 6 when this interview was aired originally so I don't remember it, thanks for sharing this video...I'm 21 now and it seems as if a lot of 21 year olds today don't seem as mature as she and others back then did...

Same. My mom used to watch her videos to find see different ways to braid my hair lol. The two braids on the side going forward and the rest to the back in designs was my favorite. Now my little girl is the same age and she looks just like Alicia, and I braid her hair the same as well lol.

I remember when Fallen had just aired on MTV. Then I saw her live in Denmark when she was just starting to become known for this album - the crowd was much smaller than it is today. I then saw her live years later in Australia. A fan right from the beginning :-)

It’s crazy to think that she was only 21 I was 18 at the time & a huge fan…didn’t even realise that she was only 3 yrs older than me..!! She seemed so mature! I wish I could go back to that time, such great memories in the early 2000s

I admire how real and down to earth Alicia Keys is. She gives me heavy homegirl energy. She feels like a warm hug from my maternal grandmother.

+Anray McNeil I wish I had the clip of Alicia Keys on ST since I'm a fan of AK, but unfortunately, I must have missed that episode. I do have other Alicia Keys appearances on other TV programs that I will eventually post.

I can't believe it's been almost 20 years dafuq ! This was her best album from start to finish Alicia was inspired. Tf is she doing now ? I wish Alicia would collaborate with Devante Swing. She's a real musician. She already had the personality and the musical identity

Rick do you have Carl Thomas on Soul Train 2001? Grooving along with his songs “Summer Rain”, “Cold Cold World.” Or maybe if you have P.Y.T. on the train With their songs “Same Ol, Same Ol.”, “Down With Me.”
