its not perfect but at its core its incredible. assuming this is the "I want song" its a mature one, a sad ballad, it gets to some bright set pieces but it starts with her singing to her fathers grave stone. the want is so overwhelming she can't express it in one simple wish that would be a catchy repeated mantra in the song. she's just going through it.

Hello, I want to say the vocals is really good and the music is with the vocal instead of feeling two separate thing. They really fit in together. My critics is that the vocals feels more into singing than acting. Since this is animated musical, i think the vocals should give more acting in the voice. For instance, when she's crying, the vocals while singing needed to sounded holding back the tears. The vocals in this is good for stand alone soundtrack but as for the movie version, it needed more acting involve. Emphasize the grief in the tone, more heavy breathing while singing for the effects. Then as for the music, it needed the environmental ambiance in the background, not too loud but enough that the music doesn't sound isolated in the movie. If you watch any of the classical animated movies respectfully in Disney, Sing franchise, Prince of the egypt, and other musicals, you'll still here the ambiance. Also, the importance of hearing the focused scenes such as the grass sounds waving with the wind, the firefly flapping wings or insect swarming sound? Another thing to suggest is the importance of loudness. While the climax of the song, the vocals and the music should be a slight louder then quieter at the end to build up the affect and help with immersion. More percussions that should touch the heart by what i mean is the if a snare drum started to play, the vibration of it resonate on to your chest. I think it's the bass is what i am talking about. It will give the classical music vibe and make the song relate to the audience. For animation, any wrinkles and awkward pause moments is needed to create that realistic facial expression. If you pause most of the Disney's old animations, the smile lines are there and sometimes- a deformed of a character can be seen but it creates fluidity and remove the uncanny look from a typical animation. If you compare the cringe copy cats vs the og animation, the uncanny and weirdness from the copy cats feels off due to lack of life in the character unlike the og which makes the characters endearing and relatable and alive. Overall, for people who creates this movie here in youtube, this is amazing. I know my critics are way too detailed and maybe impossible to obtain with just a few passionate people making this compare to multi billionaire company (which is kind of sad that they still fail "wish'), i hope it helps with the production and i hope you saw my visions. Keep up with the good works and thank you for this.

I've watched this a few times since it came out, and every time I get a little teary eyed. That scene where Alicia is running after the image of her father 2:38 , just gets me right in the heart 😭. Beautiful. It's a really strong demo. I think you guys would want to layer in some more base instruments, especially around the climax to give it some more body, and I think this song is perfectly suited for some sad violin, but the core of it is amazing. Can't wait for the next installment!!!!

But I think he could come back as the Dad not the grandpa, any which way I REALLY want a romance, but now that I think about it I doubt that Aster and Daniel are the same because, we know that that the after Estralis went dark the queen put a star in the sky which is Aster and according to the king, Celistino the kingdom was dark for a thousand years, and Alicia has a baby sister so that means her father died at least a year ago, so they can't be the same, also I think they are looking at that star, not because that is Daniel, but because he always talked about the stars and it was a way of remembering him by.
