Excellent date recipe; my daughter in law made them and they are delicious! So happy to see the girls enjoying them. The nutrition in the dates cancels out the no no of the chocolate! The young ladies are as adorable as ever!

I love stuffed dates. I usually fill them with blue cheese, but I think I will try Uncle Gino’s recipe next time. Guin was so sweet letting Puppy Dog Barton lick her palm and then gently wiping it off without a fuss. You are waiting some very kind kids!

I'm happy to see the girls like the stuffed dates. I like them also. There's so many different ways to stuff them with different things. I see this often at Christmas, having dates on a charcuterie board with some being as is, some sliced just in the middle sticking a walnut or nut of your choice in the middle where it's been cut, and then rolling in granulated sugar. Grant it, it's not the healthiest way to eat dates but everything in moderation and it is pretty yummy made that way too. Guinevere and Anastasia get cutier everyday! They are beautiful children inside and out with their tender hearts and giving nature. They really take care of one another. They will be amazing adults like their parents. Great job Alicia and Walt. You both are very loving, patient, and very special and blessed. I adore you both. Take care and God bless you all. Thank you for sharing the girls with us.

Hi Alicia, I make them all the time. You can split the date in half, put crunchy peanut butter on 1 half , and sandwich the other half together. Freeze for 1hr. Dipp them in chocolate if your choice, and back in freezer. Take them about 20 mins before eating. Healthy version of Snickers Bars. Cheers Nora - Australia 🇦🇺

Stuffed dates are our holiday staple. We use peanut butter or sun butter due to nut allergy in some, cream cheese in others, then rolled in confectioners sugar. So good…

Looks so yummy! I might make some today. I make warm appetizers.. pitted mejdool dates filled with cream cheese, wrapped in a half or 3rd of a slice of bacon, 🥓 depending on the size of the date , place on slightly greased baking sheet ,Seam side down..brush on maple syrup and bake til bacon is cooked.. delicious 😋.. hope you try it.. dates are delicious!

Stuffed dates!! A childhood Christmas memory. My mother also stuffed them with cream cheese and dipped the split side in sugar. The girls do great at pretend playing, perhaps because they have each other. Their conversation skills are amazing. And they’re just so funny.

Uncle Gene is my brother😊 He sliced the date open long ways and removed the pit and stuffed with peanut butter then froze for 1 hour and painted a strip of dark chocolate over the seam. 🩷🩷

Interesting fact... on them winking... its very uncommon for people to be able to wink with both eyes. Which is controlled by the brain. Winking with one eye can be influenced by several factors: Muscle Control: The ability to wink relies on the coordinated action of the orbicularis oculi muscle, which closes the eyelid. If you have better control or stronger muscles on one side, you might find it easier to wink with that eye.
