And a game of flag football became the substitute method of warfare. Utilizing combat strategies, speed, strength in a form without the needless loss of life and destruction.

Very enjoyable story. The science applications of play/ sports being survival related are very novel.

in many ways childrens play was a novel way to learn skills

@@sasanach8 Unfortunately we have lost that. Video games don't teach useful skills like the physical games do.

If you have pets, really pay attention to how they play. Predator species, like cats, tend to play in ways that involve simulation of pouncing on prey, like my mom's cat attacking my show laces. While prey pets, like my rabbits will zoom and binky, which means running around and randomly jumping and twisting. Basically practicing evading predators. So of course a socially and territorially competitive species like us would have games that practice stealing territory, chasing down prey, hiding when we are prey etc.

@@katherinkeegan8601They can teach the mental skills though. A good balance of outside a d inside play is good for kids.
@katherinkeegan86013 ай бұрын
@@RequiemPoete True, but on the whole we don't have that. Too many people especially kids don't get enough physical exercise. The games mentioned in the video also teach things like communication and cooperation. We also don't have enough of these either in our society.

My suggestion would be to demonstrate handball ... where you try toget your opponent off balance while teying to protect their territory. Strategy and physical abilities.

Simple bone break easily heals naturally with just a cast.
@katherinkeegan86013 ай бұрын
That was my first reaction to the term. They didn't define the types of breaks when I was a kid. My understanding is it's a break that doesn't result in the bone becoming two bones. Basically a crack in the bone. Severe enough to need the stabilization of a cast to ensure it doesn't get worse.

Stop using AI, and voice the story with an actual person. A person will know how to pace the story and where to use punctuation. This crap is just a long run on sentence with bad grammar and pronunciation
@alchemest3 ай бұрын
I would second that, or at least use a better AI program. It's inflection is way off, mispronouncing words, odd pauses that detract from the story. The story itself would have been far more exciting had an actual person been telling it.
