Alien Covenant review - Prometheus level bad?

My review for Alien Covenant, I could have listed all the stuff that's wrong with this movie, but it simply doesn't warrant the effort. Ridley Scott proves once again, he is only as good as the script in front of him.

It seems to have received a really mixed bag of reviews. I'm hoping I like it a little bit!

The Alien series used to be one of my all time favourites, but its been on a big decline for years, arguably with Alien 3 starting the trend, and Resurrection making it no better, but the argument from some saying that people didn't like Prometheus because it didn't have xenomorphs in it is a lie, imho, it was just a stupid film with a dumb script, but played out like it had grand ideas, and unfortunately for me, as Covenant carries over some of the themes of Prometheus and doesn't fix them, its not very good. Of course, if you liked Prometheus then you will no doubt derive something positive out of AC.

Even I was thinking its impossible but Covenant did go well under the level of stupidness of Prometheus. We learned for life that there is no real maximum of stupidity or Scooby Doo style tactics to explore planets.
