Alien Gear Shapeshift MOLLE Holster (Paired with Elk Pack) | Holster for backcountry protection.

In this video we review our setup for backcountry protection using the alien gear holsters shapeshift MOLLE holster attached to our Exo Mountain Gear K4 5000 pack. Modern Elk hunting frame packs typically feature oversized waist straps with PALS webbing to help distribute the weight of the pack through your hips evenly and also leave multiple options for storing accessories. That however can cause an issue with trying to carry your handgun on the waist belt of your pants. Luckily, Alien Gear has the perfect holster for these packs.
