If you flip around the bungee clip where the retainer piece leans toward the pack it’s less likely to pop out like it did in your video. The pressure of retaining something, pulls the bungee towards (inward) the retainer.

Thanks for posting this. I didn't know about the hose holder one. I clip mine through a Nite Ize S biner and it keeps it tucked on the shoulder strap, but allows it to slide without unclipping it. And comparing the set up of several types of attachment points is quite useful.

That second to last last item is what i use to tidy excess webbing/straps on backpacks. Attach as you show and then just wrap the strap around it and cinch it with the elastic. Works a treat. Good video, thanks for sharing.

So, I bought a backpack with the MOLLE system on Amazon last week... I just needed a new backpack, and it was inexpensive, and I thought the "extra" stuff looked cool lol. *Completely* ignorant to the MOLLE system, didn't come with instructions, I thought I could figure it out. I was so confused at first...and other people's videos on YT kinda suck/don't explain/show very well. You demonstrate how it works VERY well. Thank you for that. Thank you A LOT, actually! Loving my new tactical-ass pack, haha.

Where can I buy some water tube retainers?
@OscarOutdoors227 ай бұрын
Should be a link in the description my friend
@cmissal6 ай бұрын
You didn’t completely install the hydration tube retaining clip and the bungee clip. It helps to use a flat head screwdriver to help push the molle strap up so you can get the short end of the molle clip behind it.

I use two Velcro key clips on the front strap of my EDC bag, to attach those Velcro type cell pouches. I can easily slide it up and down the strap to wherever I want it, but it won't slide around on it's own if it's higher on my chest.
@OscarOutdoors222 жыл бұрын
Sounds interesting with give that a go.
@Actionronnie2 жыл бұрын
@@OscarOutdoors22 I guess it's like non permanent sliding MOLLE webbing on a 2 inch wide shoulder strap. Guess you could hang keys on the clip as well, they just stick out past the cell pouch. Ordered a newer pouch with the Velcro on the front flap, that way I have easy access to my lighter that has self adhesive Velcro attached to it.
@OscarOutdoors222 жыл бұрын
Cant actually envisage that. Would be great to see a pic
@Actionronnie2 жыл бұрын
@@OscarOutdoors22 all your really doing is attaching the Velcro clips across the 2inch shoulder strap, then attach a pouch to it like normal MOLLE webbing. I just use the ironseals cell pouch from Amazon. Place self adhesive Velcro tape (male side) on a lighter,and stick it to where people usually put their flag patch.

Those plastic carabiner are basically very nice and handy(i have a few of those myself) but they are also incredibly cheap China trash. Wobbly, improper production sizes... I wouldn't hang anything fragile and valuable on them. Maybe gloves or something.

The carabiner in this seems pointless. I do the same thing using real metal carabiners & I’m sure they are stronger than a plastic carabiner. And they hook onto any M.O.L.L.E webbing point
@OscarOutdoors222 жыл бұрын
The Grimloc? Yeah that's a good though. But the grimloc is quick release and looks Tactical... They are actually much stronger than they look. Ive a 3 litre water bladder hanging off 1. For a number of hours.b
@orpheusepiphanes279710 ай бұрын
The grimloc has a pressure where its designed to break away, and it doesnt mung up the webbing the way a carabiner does over time. So for small stuff like gloves etc it is better even if its possible to do it your way
@orpheusepiphanes279710 ай бұрын
Its designed to pop open if you get caught on something
