It is to this the day the only piece of horror media to have made me feel genuine fear, and I'm someone who is generally pretty desensitizedto horror media. This game is something different man, it doesn't care how desensitized you are. It'll still find a way to scare you. I still thank markiplier regularly for boosting this games popularity a lot when it first came out. Him giving it exposure by doing a full playthrough really helped the game in 2014.
