I'm sorry that's dangerously arrogant, my dude. Like AFE is a badass inclusion as well, there are some that don't like it because it doesn't have the pace of the first Alien movie. Its more focused on the action/suspense that James Cameron brought to the big screen, the only reason that game suffered was because Cold Iron stopped working on it. Isolation suffers because Amanda's story still isn't finished. But we both know that she survives anyway, as we've seen in the Aliens director cut.

Edit: To People In Other Comments - You just don't know history of that 'Unnofficial VR mod", you don't know that VR support in Alien Isolation was in game from first day and game was fully playable on Oculus Rift DK2 in 2014. But later, in 2015 Oculus completely rewrited drivers for Rift DK2 and upcoming Rift CV1. That new driver broked VR support in Alien Isolation. There was petiton to Sega (publisher) in that days to update VR support in game for new Oculus drivers, but this was ignored by publisher. So one man (Nibre) maked this instead Sega and Creative Assembly. Later he also added SteamVR support and buttons mappings for modern headsets. So, in other words, VR-mode always was in game and still here and it was made by Creative Assembly Team, not by modder. 'Unofficial Mod' just makes this VR-mode compatible with modern headsets. That's all story. If someone need proofs just search info about this in old posts about game from 2014-2015 years, or, for example read article [Mod Makes ‘Alien: Isolation’ VR Mode Compatible With Oculus Rift & HTC Vive] on RoadToVR site.

The only drawback to Alien Isolation imo was that there was effectively no fighting the aliens, instead of being tough enemy encounters that could be overcome with strategy, resources, and planning, like Big Brothers. There's something about running and hiding that's less tense than having to consider if you should be fighting right now, or a fight you think you don't need to run from suddenly becomes one you should've run from. The PC Aliens vs. Predator game was scarier to me because of that

This is not the same variant of pulse rifle. It does not have a grenade launcher.

@@kordelas2514every “pulse” type firearm uses the same ammo and firing mechanism. They all sound the same. That’s why smart guns and pulse rifles sound the same. There is no reason that this shouldn’t.

For real Colonial Marines gets a lot of flak but with the right mods to fix the ai and lighting its damn near the perfect Aliens experience.
