It’s the best of the prequel movies so far, definitely beats them in terms of writing and just in general. Still not quite like the first two movies, it does have a couple callbacks to previous titles. One portion of the movie though (not gonna spoil when) was… weird, however and frankly I think they could’ve gone without it. Can’t comment on the scariness however, I’m pretty much immune to horror movies.
