Every now and again, when I'm least expecting it, I have a nightmare involving the alien. The last one I had I was on some sort of space station and those things had hatched in the walls. (I think I may have had mice in mine or something.) Anyway, the wake-up-in-cold-sweat moment was when I (dreaming) pressed my ear to the wall because of the scratching noises and a hand punched it's way straight out, reaching for my throat. Not a great way to start the day. (It's strange - since I got divorced, the nightmares have stopped entirely.)

Great to go back to the roots and therefore suspense of the first Alien movie. I disagree....there is nothing new in this treatment, yes you can generate money off of the bored and intellectually non-demanding movie-goer but this is just Alien with different actors...nothing novel or innovative, it shows some great film-work-editing and acting but thats not enough, we need something actually new.
@reggieking10455 жыл бұрын
Very nice. This had something the last few Aliens movies didn't have. Genuine tension. I felt like a kid again watching Aliens for the first time and getting that feeling of dread when they're all holed up behind the door and the motion tracker is going nuts. If they could do a full movie like this and cut out all the modern flashy stylized slow mo shit and instead go for classic suspense style horror they could revitalise the whole franchise.
@ben86jones822 жыл бұрын
It was very enjoyable. Yet i think the fact it was 10mins long helped. People trying to escape, with an Alien chasing them, an evil android and a countdown. Its pretty much all the hall marks of the first films. Thought the ending was creepy and cool. Personally the fact no one can leave the Alien franchise alone, is one of the reasons people are killing it. There are two great films. The first one being legendary. Basking and remembering there greatness is the key. Trying to constantly reinvent of to use your word revitlalise the franchise has not worked. America with all due respect just cant leave anything alone, if they think they can bleed more money out of it. Alien 3 is the film that should have been. Resurrection was awful. Covenant was awful. Prometheus felt like i was mugged. A planet of body builders. What the fuck!!! This video was good because it went back to what was. Yet that's the point, its been and gone. It was great ,but you cant keep going to the well, once its out of water. Peace and love.

I liked the 3rd 1 the most 2 actually,but it's ending was so bittersweet knowing she's having to sacrifice herself for the greater good & prob.saving humanity..Sure thought that her dying in that 1 was gonna be the end of those movies,cuz there's no way bring her back right!? This is a much stronger short. The cinematography and set design feel really authentic and well thought-out. The editing in the more tense moments is so impactful. Not to mention they clearly knew their budget. So many people seem to go "well its a fan film so poor cgi is fine", but this shows why its no excuse. Something like this makes use of its budget limitations rather than push its luck. Plus it achieves a lot with minimal dialogue, a rare quality in short films that often feel expositional to compensate for the time constraints.

It's a fan made short movie but it is really cool . It's starts with the guy holding and axe telling the blond girl that she is holding the scanner/radar wrong as they try to make it to the escape pods with only 6 minutes until the ship explodes then he said " This is the right way " as he makes his way in the room where the alien kills him . Then the blond girl said " We need that sensor " and the pregnant girl looks down at her belly then goes in the room while her husband " i think " yells after her " Wait , don't go in there " she grabs the radar and the axe and after they hug she asked the blond girl " Are you sure that the company has probes this far out ? " and she answers " They are locked on to our distress beacon " Pregnant girl "Then let's go " the blond girl " This way ". While the alien attacks the guy you can hear in the back ground the alarm and the mother ship computer saying with a female voice "Last warning , the last emergency shuttle will be automatically ejected in T minus 2 minutes " as they struggle with the wounded guy and reach the pod the blond girl looks at those "xx" signs and the pregnant girls askes her" What's wrong ? " and the blond girls reply's back " It's been disabled " . As the blond girl is trying to fix and unlock the door to the pod the wounded guy tells the pregnant girl " You need to go ..i will stay " . The blond girl fixes the locked door and grabs the wounded guy and said " Free flight is initiated , the company's probes will find your in 22 hours " mother ship computer voice " 1 minute until impact " as they get ready the computer voice said " Containment warning , foreign tissue detected ,launch override authorized granted " and at this part i am not sure if the blond girl that is an android threw a face hugger on the dude's face and smiled or the face hugger found it's way in the escape pod ..i'm rly confused at this part ....ANYWAY the mother ship computer starts the countdown 8.7.6.5 the alien pierces the blond android girl while the pregnant girl starts to scream and the egg opens up as the countdown continues 4.3.2.1 door closes and the escape shuttle launches . I hope that this was helpful to you

The fx, direction, storyline, and acting was so professional, job very well done. It had me in 9:25 of suspense mode. Now, all we need is 110 mins., of the movie to see what happened.👍😊

What do you mean what happened? The company knew there were aliens there, so they sent a crew with an android whose job was to get the Alien back, crew dispensable. And she does the job. The story is well told and complete. Not everything needs to be turned into a full length movie.
