So I'm not sure if you caught it, but the original xenomorph from the Nostromo secreted the resin stuff and formed a cocoon for itself before going into hibernation. All the other xenomorphs were born from facehuggers that attacked the research team and made the station go dark, then went into hibernation once they were the only living things on the station. Xenomorphs can hibernate for extremely long periods of time, and I'm not even sure if old age is something they die from. The eggs can last for thousands of years, as seen in the original movie, at the very least.

“I like how it looks like the alien from Prometheus btw” ooof you don’t know how right u are, there so many theories but one of them is confirmed thru prologues and deleted scenes and scripts, that the android david in Prometheus altered that black liquid in his own way incorporating xenomorph and none other than the ENGINEER DNA so when she jabbed herself with the needle of black liquid it’s the new modified version which essentially she gave birth to 3 species hybrid, a xenomorph, engineer, human hybrid, which would explain the similarities in the appearance 🫣🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯 they’re finally slowly bringing back the engineer storyline 👀🤞🏽
@alexkramerblogsАй бұрын
The black goo here was reverse engineered from the Xeno from original Alien. As far as we can tell in-universe, that batch of Xeno eggs was much, much older than even the movie Prometheus. So, as of the moment they're kind of parallel elements at play, unless the third prequel ties things closer together more concretely.
@heyitsmefadi8024Ай бұрын
Ur completely right, the black goo from the original alien is a lot older than the black goo on the planet of Prometheus, as for the origins for the xeno is unknown, but it’s “rediscovered” as david creates and perfects it, I’m confused from where they acquired the black goo vase here, if it’s from Prometheus planet then I’m right saying from David, but if it’s not then, it’s straight off the hands off engineers in there experimental phase.

I had the exact same reaction to the classic line, I was happy with hearing the first half but when the second half came out of their mouth I was a little annoyed. Ian Holm's posthumous reprisal was something that I didn't think I'd be bothered by going into the film, because Rogue One is my favorite Star Wars film and the posthumous reprisals didn't bother me in that instance; however, I felt the ick as they were introducing the character to us, and even worse, I agree that nothing is lost if we have a different artificial person, (the only benefit is the shorthand that Ash was a villain in the original 1979 film--though a villain like similar AIs of the era, villain by programing and cold, hard decision making--and so Rook would also have those traits, if only by being the same model. That said, we've seen so many other artificial persons throughout the franchise, but even in this film where there are literally two different types of artificial persons in the same scenes. It really makes me wonder why they were so hellbent on doing that with Holm's likeness--Proof of concept for the tech that got a lot of press during the strikes, perhaps? Remember the news that they were actively resurrecting an actor for a film they would be posthumously starring in, (I think it was James Dean?) I fear this decision to bring back Holm was based more on that decision than any other. For instance, if not create a wholly new artificial person, why not present us with a new Walter? I loved David Jonsson, he was incredible! The score was incredible. The world building is incredible, the sets and effects were incredible, (with the only exception being the controversial resurrection of Ian Holm.) I loved the writing, much like Fallout & The Last Of Us, (while I didn't think they understood their politics--I mean, look at who the writers were, they have a track record of not being great while not being horrendous,) I thought were masterclasses in writing, this film's focus, in particular, shows how to write great pacing and the ability to present a problem and solve that problem without seeming too predictable.

She wakes up and witnesses a creature burst out of her friend. she survives total chaos in a crash, only to see the father of her child die underneath the very personification of Satan's vagina, if Satan was indeed a female..... that creature then crowned out of Satan's vagina and then attacked her. This robot persuaded her into injecting herself with this fluid that would allow for her unborn child to see the sun one day. .... She then goes to sleep, only to awaken to birth this spawn of satan in an egg, then burns through the ship. Crawls back up to feed off of her.... All within the span of what, one hour ???? --- from the time the crash , ring impact, .... she literally had the worst hour and a half of any person in the Alien Franchise.....
