Predators usually dont kill for one of two reasons. 1) they dont view somthing as a challenge, so it wont earn them any respect in there clan if they kill it. 2) Predators do have a strong moral code, if somthing is considered innocent or harmless, like a child for instance, killing it would bring great dishoner to its clan.

You see it in the first predator, he didn't mess with the girl till she picked up a weapon. To the honor code, it's very subtle but after he fought Billy and took his skull he admires it because Billy fought him one on one with a blade.

Devin, don't know if you know this but in the original Predator film the person behind the Predator noise (Peter Cullen) was also the voice of Optimus Prime in the old Transformers cartoon on tv and later in the movies too.

These young members were of the 'First Serpent' clan (as is seen by the clan tag on their foreheads). By ending an entire Xenomorph nest, queen and all, these three would've become "Clan Leaders". These leaders have a right to pick wives before any other, and can make decisions of what the clan itself will proceed forward with and do. Our heroine at the end becoming burned with the clan tag makes her what's considered one of the Predator hunters, or a "Blooded". She now has the same rights to honor and game as a predator does, and must now be considered as such by the clan who 'initiated' her.

I'm telling you...nothing like a good classic to stir up a reaction. I have yet to really see anyone react to the Alien/Predator franchises except "ItAPrimate". I think "The Predator" and "Prometheus" was his last reaction to the franchise or "Prey"...but they are so good films

You're exaggerating about Blacks being the first to die...in the original Thing (1980) the Black guy was one of the last to survive...in Scream the Black cameraman survived, just fainted. Die Hard the Black cop survived, was a hero.

18:05 - LAST ONE TO DIE? - I feel you, Devin.I was a teen in the 1970s and in every movie that contained death around that time, any black character would always be the first to die.. I remember watching Alien and being shocked when the black character didn't die first.

Even thou people will argue with me, this movie made Lance Hendrickson the second actor, besides Bill Paxton, to be killed by a terminator, alien and predator. I loved this movie and the tie-ins to the other franchises. It's a shame they don't consider it canon in the Predator/Alien universe

I definitely prefer AVP 1 to AVP Requiem. AVP 1 is a superior movie. The story is well written instead of being somewhat rushed like in Requiem. There is more of a dynamic to the partnership between the human survivor Lex and the Predator Scar.

Same Alien is much stronger then Predator. Predators are not much stronger than humans. Aliens on the other hand are physically stronger faster more agile and don’t need tech to kill a predator. Alien wins hands down
