Each Mini-Movie is crafted so well. I say "crafted" because each, ALIEN Anthology series episode is so carefully worked out. Even the actors, seem completely invested in their parts. In 1979, I snuck into the theater, when I was 9 years old, just to watch the original and I've been addicted ever since. So far, each installment makes my hands sweat. That's saying a lot. They are like these; small, jewel encrusted, shiny platinum gilded, highly ornate jewelry or puzzle-box pieces -- Brilliant. (They tried to do the same with Hellraiser, but it flopped.)

Brilliant. I kinda wanted there to be no alien on board and have a study on the paranoia and after-effects of surviving a containment breach. I think that would have been something we had not seen before. Having said that, the short was still fantastic and a great ending.

oh my god... everything I wanted. a perfect return to the design of cassette futurism on the original 1979 movie, which was also encapsulated PERFECTLY to Creative Assembly's 2014 Alien: Isolation. I hope that in the future of the ALIEN franchise we can have a return to this kind of low-fi 70's and 80's technological looking future. I LOVE IT!!!!

All the short films were great but for once, I really want to see someone initiate their moves before the hell happens. such as, piercing through the chest before it comes out, be extremely cautious and not look into the eggs, and actually be extra prepared when somebody warns you, etc.

I thought this was very well done! From the visuals to the cast, amazing work! I can absolutely picture this as a continuance of the Alien series. This short film captured the essence of the original. Chris Reading has nailed it...in my humble opinion anyway. I would love to see a feature length telling of this series, by Chris. Was the pilot of the shuttle an actress from the TV series VIKINGS? She looks very familiar.
