If you're a fan of old school movies, then you'll love this clip from the classic Aliens movie. This clip is remastered in 4K HDR custom for a truly immersive experience. Whether you're watching it on your TV or on your phone, you'll be transported to the Aliens scene from the movie!
57 years after Ellen Ripley had a close encounter with the reptilian alien creature from the first movie, she is called back, this time, to help a group of highly trained colonial marines fight off against the sinister extraterrestrials. But this time, the aliens have taken over a space colony on the moon LV-426. When the colonial marines are called upon to search the deserted space colony, they later find out that they are up against more than what they bargained for. Using specially modified machine guns and enough firepower, it's either fight or die as the space marines battle against the aliens. As the Marines do their best to defend themselves, Ripley must attempt to protect a young girl who is the sole survivor of the nearly wiped out space colony.

The only thing that has always bothered me about this scene is that they don't let Ripley finish the story of her encounter with the Alien. If they had heard about the sheer size of the thing and how hostile and difficult to kill it was directly from a survivor, maybe they would have taken the mission more cautiously... No no - I saw the original when it was in the theater and many times after that, no butchered director's cut or anything - he absolutely said "a xenomorph" - which leads to the line a "it's a bug hunt". There's plenty of /other/ added awfulness in the director's cut - but not this set of dialogue.

I'm also blown away by the realism of the set...the dropships, everything is so seamless and amazing. Kudos to James Cameron...he should've made sequels...too bad he focused on Avatar and Titanic.

There is a lot of vietnam influence in the marines of this universe. The passage of time has shown us that technology has played a fundamental role in the appearance of soldiers. And it is most likely that the marines of 2179 have exoskeletons, special suits, electromagnetic weapons, thermal visors installed on a helmet, etc.

So why did they need Ripley for the mission as a consultant if they already encountered the creature ?🤷‍♂️

They had never encountered anything remotely close to what she claims to have seen. Presumably in exploring countless galaxies and worlds, you'd encounter all sorts of endoparasites. That's basically was Xenomorph means.
