"Aliens": Third Officer Ripley has been found and taken to Gateway station with a Xenomorph-size case of PTSD. What will The Weyland-Yutani Suits make of her blowing up the "Nostromo"? 6:05 You are watching the theatrical version that I saw in 1986. 11:50 Ripley shows Apone and Hicks that she isn't a front office paper shuffler like Burke, but a working class dog, like themselves. 15:55 In 1986, I noticed that Ripley was able to "get close, quickly" to Rebecca, unlike the female Colonial Marines. A reviewer of the time said: "Sisterhood!" In 1990, I bought the Special Edition Laserdisc(!) and confirmed the Ripley had been a parent. 18:52 Vasquez has spare fire control modules, so the squad still has fire support. 26:08 The Manual of Arms.

As for Bill Paxton, he's one of the punk guys at the start. However we don't know for sure he was killed because T-800 just throws him away so he could be only unconscious.

You're referring to his role in "Predator", not this movie. But if you get thrown over 10 feet against a steel gate by the full power of a cyborg (think hydraulic machine), I don't think you're getting up from that sudden stop.

Here for this. Emily and I just reacted to this movie a few weeks ago. It has been my favorite of the first two Alien movies.
@KalElCanFly2 ай бұрын
Emily and I watched the special edition cut of this movie. In that version you find out Ripley had a daughter who was left on Earth while she was away. Given the 57 years in hyper sleep her daughter had died 2 years before she was rescued. It gives a lot more gravitas to her mothering instinct to help Newt.
@unwindreactions62232 ай бұрын
@@KalElCanFly I saw your reaction and I still wanted to comment on it, but I don't know what happened or if I got distracted 🙈 But I had fun watching it, I really enjoyed your reaction and I recall seeing the part about her being told her daughter passed away and then I thought to myself why didn't I watch that version? Did you do some of the rest of the movies yet? I still have to watch from 3 onwards and have the last 2 Predator movies still left to do as well as Alien v Predator Raquiem, so still have a long ways to go, but having fun with it, even though I much prefer the Predators to the Aliens 😁 Have a great weekend you two 🤗

I am a new subscriber anyway I hope to see a first time reaction to The Thing (1982) director by John Carpenter because The Thing (1982) is on the same level as Alien (1979) directed by Ridley Scott and Aliens (1986) directed by James Cameron combined together as well:).

One of the best sequels. Aliens Special Edition is better than the Theatrical cut. It’s about 20 minutes longer.

28:26 LMAO Best reaction so far 🤣🤣Well girl if you read my comments un Alien you would have watched PROMETHEUS before this one LIKE I TOLD U TO DO.!😡 Why does no one follow my suggestions? So go to Prometheus next, it's the prequil to Alien then do ALIEN COVENANT its the sequel to Prometheus. As far as the other movies don't bother they are junk. I have seen the new one Romuls yet but Id say last. Well u have gotten better with your editing but you still left out a few of the key scenes. Hudsons line became pop culture... Like "Stop your grinning and drop your linen" Ok I see you got the Pink Panther. WHY havent you dont the Pink Panther COMEDY MOVIE SERIES?? It has Peter Sellers from Pink Panther 1963, Shot in the Dark 1964 , then Return of the Pink Panther, The Pink Panther Strikes Again and Revenge of the Pink PAnther..all in the 1970s. They are funyy, slapstick type of comedy. U will enjoy.. Ok girl ask me any questions u like, I will reply.

@@cherylsims5636 thanks 😄 I'm sorry, sometimes I read the comments at work and then don't always get a chance to immediately make notes or even when I make mental notes, it just slips my mind very quickly - a lot going on and a lot to do in a day 🙈 I actually did start with Pink Panther but had some issues earlier this year when I crossed over to my new computer and the Pink Panther movies disappeared from Amazon Prime for a while, so I didn't have any other access, but it recently re-appeared again on Amazon - so the first Pink Panther is on my Patreon and I am planning on watching "A Shot in the Dark" in the near future, which will be on KZbin when the time comes and will be watching the rest as well for the channel as far as I can. Thanks for your inputs though, it's not always possible to give everybody exactly what they want, but we do what we can 🤗 Thanks for being here and have a great day otherwise 🤗

I wouldn't bother reacting to any of the sequels, but that's up to you. However, generally speaking none of the sequels are regarded as well as the first two films. Some of them are outright terrible, IMO. But thanks for covering the first two! It's really fun to watch a first timer react to them!

This movie always falls flat at the 3rd act for me. Ripley is always the practical one and does everything to keep other characters safe. You’d think she’d know better than to piss off a powerful dangerous and intelligent animal. All of the aliens were in a location that was about to blow up within minutes and the queen was letting them go to protect her offspring. Always hated that ending.
@willmartin7293Ай бұрын
No, the queen wasn't letting them go. She called off her drones, but her eggs were hatching, and the face-huggers would have been chasing them. That's why Ripley roasted them. Although, Ripley did spend too much time plugging the egg hatchery with the grenade launcher while the station was about to explode.
