In this video, I discuss the weird and wonderful world of UAP (UFO) Photography. I share some examples of how everyday objects can be mistaken for extraterrestrial craft in photographs, and go over some historical examples of these mistakes. I also talk about famous hoax photos and how they were made, and share some of my favourite (and least favourite) examples. I'll also share some musings on why this phenomenon might be so hard to photograph (within the "lore" of UFOlogy) and finish up with some examples of my favourite images that have yet to be debunked.

You have such a special talent for entertaining content. And I love it that you enjoy it as much as we do. Of course I started with your Chanel through photography. BTW love to see something from NYFW. Maybe just your commentary over stills if you are not doing BRoll. I am sure you have a great take on these institutions. Enjoy NY

Thank you!!! I'll definitely have something coming down the pipes for NYFW, I'm thinking of doing a little footage + explanation kind of thing, maybe a voice over will be in order! Its such a BIG experience, I want to find a way to share it in the most accurate way possible.

Really fun video! I'm open to the idea of alien visitors even if I haven't seen any convincing proof...but it's fun to imagine

@@YvonneHansonPhotography I bet! You were having fun in the intro with that movie scene you created lol!! Ive being watching your videos lately cause they’re really entertaining and educational at the same time, also captivating and creative. Alsoooo you do your assignment to gather all the information possible an give a really good essay compress in a few minutes about the subject, idk if you have any degrees or anything but most of your videos are college presentations, well inform and very smart on your side! Previous to this one I saw the burnout one and that was really interesting too! I think a good subject to digging into also is - where burnout and depression cross a line? And how to distinguish it? Idk I think its a good subject to talk about… anyways keep bringing all that great content and thanks for providing something different, well done, smart and of great interest! A+💯

And yes ... I was trying to figure out if I could guess the exposure of the saucer without the use of a light meter. And on a serious note, when I was in West Texas the first time, I saw a WEIRD silver blimp-like balloon. But it was on the ground at the launch pad. I forget exactly what it was for, but it was definitely a weather-type thing.

@@JamieMPhoto hahaha I think if I actually had a fully manual camera and saw a flying saucer, I'd be hooped. They'd be dark and blurry as heck hahaha. No guesswork for me when it comes to lightmeters 🙃

Haha. I was thinking there's this exposure guide I have a copy of that gives situations like "carnival at night" ... and I'd just have to refer to that thing (that I can't remember the name of so I need to find where I put it). Though I have had some good luck guessing exposure ...

What is the shutter speed and framerate for aerial photography? I mean that "real deal" ufo is tack sharp, and if it moves very fast, well then the shutter speed also needs to be REALLY short. To me the tack sharpness of it makes it look fake. I mean film used there i would suspect is not super fast, and for both ground and the UFO to be both sharp, they need to be using quite small aperture, which doesent leave much room for fast shutter speeds. Also i dont see what would be a point of using aperture that is able to capture relatively close by object, and also the ground both tack sharp. Like in order to get best sharpness for the ground (which they were photographing), focus needs to be there, and using aperture that can also show tack sharp things close by makes no sense. Im not trying to deny aliens existing or UFOs being here, neither do i blindly believe them existing. Rather im critical for both ideas of them existing and not existing.
