The ultimate everclear coctail for old school Army GIs: everclear and Hawaiian Punch... better known as Jungle Juice! I had a squad leader who had two old school metal canteens. When we rolled to the boonies or out for an alert, he had them full of Jungle Juice. A Vietnam combat vet, and an outstanding NCO!

When he was making the drinks he should have used an eyedropper instead of a shot glass or a standard bartenders measuring cup. Considering how strong everclear and several other types of alcohol Earth has that are strong, that would have been the wiser choice.

I use Everclear in my camp tent heater. The exhaust is nontoxic, water vapor. No chance of asphyxiation. Drink it? No thanks.

There is also carbon dioxide in the vapour which is slightly toxic and with incomplete burning you will get carbon monoxide, highly toxic.

Hell, Everclear can't even be sold to the public in every state in the US! At least not in its 190 proof form. Texas, my home state, is one of them.
