Love how streamlined and lightweight AutoBoat motor setups are. No heavy bulky bow mount like Motorguide Xi3 or iPilot systems. If you had a bow mount style motor on bow it would eat up a lot more deck space and It would be way heavier in the bow. Plus having Anchor Jog on AutoBoat right out of the box is so nice. Other brand gps motors require a separate expensive heading sensor to activate Anchor jog. AutoBoat is dominating the market.

Do you feel 36lb thrust is strong enough in faster current/wind?

Yes, it seemed to do great. The only reason I ask is because I currently have a 30lb thrust rigged as a stern mount and it does ok, but in higher current/wind it lacks some. I really am interested in this trolling motor head. 👍

Aliex, isn’t this the yak that you said is bad news if it flips that it quickly fills up with water? The rod ports in the front and the non sealed front deck cover let water in quickly. You did a demo flipping it When you told me that I decided this yak isn’t for me. Comments?

@@justintime3944 the bad news was when I flipped it on purpose and lost the brand new rod and battery, it is hard to flip, water does get in but that's any kayak like that hobie PA, titan and such
