Aliexpress Grand Auditorium Kit Build - Part 8: The Demo

Hi guys, welcome to a new video series where I build a cheap grand auditorium kit I bought off Aliexpress. The kit itself only cost me about $80 USD including shipping. There weren’t any reviews or videos made on this kit so I decided to give it a shot. I’ve built a StewMac Triple 0 kit about 3 years ago, and the skills are transferrable. You can view the entire series on my channel.
The guitar is recording with a SM-57 and a Steinberg ST-M01. No compression or EQ added.

Simon, you are an incredibly industrious and talented human. Once again you did something amazing and then played it like a pro. Congrats. How do you like this guitar compared to your other personally built guitars?

Thanks for the kind words! I built it for a friend and he's enjoying it a lot. Personally I prefer the tone compared to my Taylor 814ce, which sounds too bright in comparison. I was very happy with it and I think the sound will continue to mature over time.

@@nledelnr It would be my martin HD28. Mainly for the powerful sound when I play chords. But I find the Taylor 814ce the most versatile for both strumming and picking.
