Thanks for the video, not much info available on these. How are they holding up? I'm mainly buying these for looks and don't really care about weight either. I have a 9 speed Sora cassette that I intend to install on these, does the freeh-hub accommodate it easily, any spacers required?

You’re welcome and yeah there is no info about weight, but they are aluminum so expect light weight but not carbon lightweight. As far as sora 9speed. That’s what I run. It comes with a spacer though. Not sure it I used it or not. I think I may have.

I used a pair of fast forward replicas on my rim break road bike for almost a year (~6000km) with no issues. the only thing I noticed that the decals are coming off after certain warm-cold-wetness, and after rain or washing them some water gets stuck inside the profile and it has no holes near the breaking surface that can let the water out, and yeah, the breaking surface became shiny at the 1st descent and test breakings. I won't say they are the best wheels, but I will chose them again if I had to start again with rim break road bike. Now I'm looking forward to buy a set of carbon wheels from aliexpress for my new disc breaks road bike, and I am still figuring out which looks better, matthe mavic cosmic with withe logo or glossy ffwd with red/withe logo.

When you receive the item, is the freehub greased and rim taped already done?

@@ggingging-s9w freehub has factory grease but a thin layer. Def needs to be greased afterwards and it only has the band for tubes. If you’re going to run tubeless then you need to tape it yourself

Do they come with tyres??? Cos i just bought one and it didn't come with tyres... And what is the weight of the wheels ?

what the inner width, any clue on what wheels these are? is it alloy and carbon ? I like the cosmics for cx racing , I guess it wouldnt be dangerous to run the tubeless at 45 psi?

@@ca5ualm3dia hey. Inner width is 18mm. Can fit up to 32cc tires on them. Only can be used for road or skinny gravel unfortunately. They’re pretty sweet wheels though and they are also aluminum.

Hello. As long as the cassette is Shimano hg spline then it will work. I know sram has some cassettes that are hg and I believe campagnolo does use an hg spline. Just make sure to check with the manufacturer first

Absolutely. I mostly ride my road bike indoors on my tac x and rollers so not many miles. I’m also curious to see how these hold up. The seems where they mended them so seem to bad, but we will see. I’ll make update videos.

im from the Philippines,I got mavic cosmic wheelset from china, only 3 pawls but the sound is good, its for v brake road bike, and also I got another for gravel bike,its the rujixu pro,you can put much wider tires on, also 3 pawls, its sound nice also ,the only issue is the engagement,since its only 3 pawls, when you pedal the travel of pedal is longer to engage, so you would feel that there's certain degrees of position you have to do on the crank ,before the bike launches,but other than that it works good

lol.Apparently a lot of people in the Philippines do and surrounding territories. I’ve heard horror stories about mavic wheel failures in the USA. I usually indulge in the mtb stuff, first time diving into the the roadie life stuff. As mountain bikers we could care less if stuff brakes because usually it’s always breaking no matter if it’s a 2k fork or a 1k transmission. Just the nature of mtb. It’s interesting diving into this stuff, but sucks that’s the roadie and gravel crew are kind of stuck up.

Did you look at the cost of these wheels ? Have also heard bad things about ride quality of mavic wheels, that they are too stiff. But if you are looking for this kind of cost wheels you dont expect top quality.
