Align Trex 470LM setup on the radiomaster TX16S

Thankyou soo soo much man. I fly helis for 10 years but they have progressed so much with self level, SAFE, etc. I have trex 550 dfc, ar7200bx 470 bx pluss standard spectrum ar6610t hobbywing gov. Just got some Fatshark scouts and a T16s and wow, the gimbals out the box are so so smooth , made sim mode , to freerider on phone(paid version) and having to relearn stuff again in an opentx c++ arduino kinda thing just goofed me out, so i just wanted to say THANKYOU MY FRIEND! WILL PROGRAM RADIO, BIND TO RECIEVER AND REDO THE BEAST +

I’m going through that now with my old trex600n compared to new trex 450s dfc and updated blade coming with fc6250, my heads gonna blow… maybe i shouldn’t have got the tx16s so soon

Great Video, can you share the spectrum DSMX satellite receiver that you use and if is required some cable adapter to connect the microbeast, and some recommendation where to buy will come handy thanks a lot

I’m using a DSMX FPV satellite ( what I had laying around) but I just set my buddys up with a regular DSMX satellite from horizon hobby. You don’t need any special cable as the micro beast is a V5 and plugs right in the side!

No, the TX16S with a 4:1 can bind to any RX,

Thank you very much! So I just bought the IX14 and will have videos on it very soon! As compared to the TX16S. I would say go with the IX14, spektrum is soooo much easier to program and work with. Radiomaster is a steep learning curve. It’s a whole different radio system. For the money it’s a good radio but if you can afford to get the IX14 I highly recommend it over the TX16S.

Hi hope ur finished the Sab goblin helicopter.... wanna buy an oxy 4 max heli I have radio tx 16s but don't know what satellite or reciever to buy for binding the future heli with my radio tx 16s.... and yes im a newbie im lost but learning slowly... Any help thankfully as always....

Thank you! SAB RAW 580 is done and flying. New video out today. The OXY 4 is a very nice heli! Well, what FBL are you going to use? The TX16S can bind to pretty much anything so that’s totally up to you. I personally am a Spektrum fan and person so I would run two DSMX satellites with a Ikon 2 FBL. But you can run a regular flysky RX or anything you like.

That means ill need to buy a ikon 2FBL and 2 DSMX satellite receivers for my oxy 4 to bind with the tx 16s radio Can this formula apply to any othe helicopter i buy in the future with my tx 16s radio.... I loved the omp m2 helicopter for my kid For that helicopter i must buy the ikon 2 FBL and the 2 DSMX satellite receivers? Hi, great video! I am only a bit confused with the gyro settings. You set up 3 values (40%, 48%, 50%). Since they are all >0%, in the Microbeast are these for Headinglock-Mode only? How do you eventually set Normal/Rate-Mode? Thank you

Hey Jeff, i'm trying to setup my Raw420 and i have set the same settings to my tx16s. I'm using the MSH Brain 2 as fbl. But i have an major problem. In every stuntmode my helicopter turns of in negativ throttle/Pitch. In normalmode it starts to spool up at -20 throttle (Stickpoint). Even in stunt1 and 2 its shuts down when i give negativ pitch. I dont get it. I have done everything like you in your Vid's. Do you have an Idea what that can be ? For my radio i used this Video but for the other konfiguration i used your Raw 420 build playlist. PLS Help XD

I have everything setup but no matter what I do I can’t get motor to spool till most half stick no motor output no matter flight mode. I calibrated end points on esc and tried another heli same issue. Can u help

Im setting up a Trex550 with DSMX receivers for the first time(first time flying helis). I assume these settings will work with it? I will be using the Ikon 2 FBL.

The majority of the settings will work the only difference is if you are setting up your flight mode you were going to have to setup channel 7 and assign it as an exhilarate channel. I am working on a radio profile right now for Ikon and the TX16S. If you can give me a few days I will try and get a video out for you with the set up. But everything is the same just only difference is the seventh channel for flight modes and rescue

How do you mix the tail rotor into the mix . So when you add throttle the pitch on the tail rotor adjusts

That is all done in the FBL setup not in the radio.

Thank you! No I do not, just for the timer this particular model on others I use it for rescue but since I am running a micro beast I do not have the pro version so rescue on this one.

@@badjingme you don’t need six and seven, so I made one file for all helicopters to override was for the M2 and OMP hobby. I sent deleted it after the video.

@@badjingme Yes the outputs that are in this video for six and seven are for overriding which is rescue of OMP protocol. You can use the template for all helicopters and it works fantastic! The NX10 is nice and a great radio, I like the TX16S and it’s been a fantastic radio! I tell everybody to use what radio they like but you cannot beat the price of the TX16S! Thanks for watching!

If I remember correctly the first time in the kit came with a little hex driver. Give me a few minutes and I will go check. But I used the standard 1.5 mm 2 mm and 2.5 mm and a Phillips.

No, I use a iKon 2 FBL. The microbeast does not have Auto level and rescue. I believe you need to pay for the pro software.

I have problems setting the channel for it...dont know if got to do it in Inputs or in Mixes or in Outputs and second thing is I dont know wich channel and wich values I need to prog in it

@@westhobbiesrc8051 with the brain 2 setup I am fine...please do not get me wrong...I ask about the beastX plus pro and its channels. I found out that the setup I am running with the Radiomaster R88 v2 reciever do not allow me to get rescue and auto Level on another channel than the tail gain is on when I am using it as standard receiver. I think I will risk it and try to run the 500 with just one dsmx sat...I am not flying this far war away...I do not understand why it should be okay with a 450size flying just one sat and why with a 500size it should not work.

I'm trying to sett up a jumper tlite on my small cp helicopters. And my m2..it's been a long time Sense I set up on open tx .and it's a real mind f for me!...I set up a 4 channel drones on on..I know how to mix some things but idle up has me so confused

Idle up it’s just going to be three throttle curves. You need a normal mode one and a two. If you follow the video you can copy those setting and adjust the percentages for the head speed you want

Hello. Nice video. I'v got a question. I am doing Microbeast plus setup with TX16S and in Setup menu when I went to step L - collective pitch (where you have to min/max 12 degree pitch), I was fine with +12 degree meaning that no blinking light was on, just solid blue, but when I went to -12 degree pitch, red light was blinking but it should be solid. Now, manual says that you need to increase/decrease servo throw on your transmitter on pitch channel to change it to solid red light. Do I need to fool around with travel adjust or sub trims to do this? Thank you

Got it. You go to Output -> pitch cannel edit and change values in PPM CENTER.

By the way I have Trex 500 with 3 blade head and it is just more pain in the ass to setup). I used to have Spektrum dx7 radio (old one) and I adjusted servo throw through Travel adjust on that transmitter but with TX16s it is just different@@westhobbiesrc8051

The only problem with TX16S I got is that trainer port). I did everything already (bent connectors, baught those plug adapters recomended by Radiomaster). Still did not work. Once I heard a voice saying trainer pluged in and then trainer no signal@. That was it. It is amazing that these guys made the best transmitter and could not solve such a simple thing, as pluggin trainer port)) @@westhobbiesrc8051
