Gisela Schneck if couples talk like that - there is something wrong - I’m not saying that they don’t love each other - but a man speaking to a woman like that also wouldn’t be acceptable. All in context of the other vlog too - and her critical nature of Ali’s cooking on there - essentially saying his cooking was of a poor standard that her entitled friends would also disapprove of (comparing it to some crazy standard) - it was really disempowering an disappointing.

Yes, puppy proofing is definitely a thing! Wrapping cords, cordoning off parts of the house, adding traction pads or rugs, etc. It's all part of bringing a new dog of any age home, but especially a small one! Forethought and management will save you both worry once he arrives. Don't worry, once Porter learns the lay of the land you'll be able to phase some things out and it won't feel so odd!

I pree boil the potatoes first then throw them in as this gives them a crispy outer coat, I then throw them in with the roast to soak up the flavours. When the roast is ready ( medium rare ) I put them in another pan to keep cooking. Popovers will be yummy with it as well. ( there’s a trick to that as well ). Everything looks yummy. I got my sweet golden retriever puppy 4 weeks ago and it’s completely normal and recommended to prep your house for the puppy!! You’ll quickly realize that you’ll probably have to do even more prep because he’ll get into more things that you think😂 pens are great for when you need him to be safe and in a potty accident okay area (it just happens sadly) while you can be directly supervising him!

We gor our puppy in April, she’s 10 months now. She was extremely bity, not only us, our clothes, but also furniture, walls and so on. She does better now, but she still loves jumping in the curtains. Not all puppies are that high strung, but we found the puppypen very handy, even now just to calm her down.

Pea netting is the best for toy dog puppies as they get through everything (banisters included) and will nibble through cling film.. when they’re 6 months they won’t care to explore when you remove it xxx

Hey! So my hubby and I have done tons of research on puppies and dogs... Playpen is recommended. To restrict the area they are in initially. Crate and playpen, especially if the dog is small. I would bell train him to go pee outside. Great books on Amazon on puppies!

Bell training is excellent. My miniature schnauzer has 3 little bells which he taps with his paw. One near the door for when he needs to go out, One near his food dish and one near his treat drawer...he loves that he can alert us to exactly what he wants😊

Not everyone is going to puppy proof their house but I do think it’s smart to make sure he can’t fall through the openings on the banister. It’s better to be overprotective now and take things down little by little rather than Porter getting hurt and you could’ve prevented it. Whatever you guys need to do to not have to constantly worry that he’s going to get hurt. Good luck when he comes. I can’t wait to see him walking around the house!🥰

Maybe not bubble wrap, but yes you do have to take extra care - especially if you have stairs and balcony railings and a very small puppy! I've had English Cockers since 1975, it's always better to be safe than sorry! 🐶🐶

Usually best to have either Raclette or Fondue ! They're both quite big dishes. They both looked slightly disappointing. Never seen Raclette poured onto so many potatoes in one go ! Also no sign of any charcuterie or salad ?
