Equilibrium is a composite sensation created in three semicircular canals, which are filled with liquid. The channels also contain sensory cells with ultra-thin hairs. Whenever we spin around, the liquid moves around, causing these hairs to sway.

Can you explain why amino acids require insulin for cerebral uptake and glucose diffuses readily into the brain.
@samyukthasanthosh4201
@samyukthasanthosh4201 3 жыл бұрын
Cause many amino acids like gab glutamate etc can act as neurotransmitters and so it doesn't pass on its own as it can disrupt the signals While glucose is necessary for metabolic activity and thus passes through bbb

@@timothyblount7040 GLUT1 transporters are embedded in the membrane compared to skeletal glut4 which translocates after the effects of insulin. so the BBB has a glucose transporter that doesn’t need hormone activation, it’s already there

@Someone-p7y
@Someone-p7y 8 ай бұрын
@@Alex-wg1mb The existence of diseases does not negate the existence of the Creator. We are now in a scientific video. There are some questions, such as why there are diseases and natural disasters, why there is evil in the world, that the science of philosophy can answer. For example, the presence of a failing student in a class containing 50 successful students does not mean that there is something wrong with the professor, nor does it mean that the professor does not exist... As I said before, I do not want to delve deeply into philosophy here. It is shameful for the human mind to believe that this whole system In his body and in the world he was found by pure stupid coincidence. Let us not forget that the disease that you mentioned is rare and not all creatures are afflicted with it. A person’s normal life is all healthy except for some periods when he is afflicted by a disease.
